The Freeport Community Foundation is a non-profit organization, 501(c)3, guided by community leaders who are dedicated to providing financial solutions for current and future community needs through cooperative philanthropy.
The purpose of the Foundation is to provide for the well- being of the citizens of Freeport and Northwest Illinois by accumulating assets in the form of permanent funds and prudently distributing income from those funds to charitable organizations.
The Freeport Community Foundation announces two grant cycles for the Community Needs and Matthew Marvin Fund:

The Foundation announces the John M. Drogosz Youth Substance Abuse Prevention/Treatment Memorial Fund will award a grant(s) to eligible organizations in 2012! A Grant Seekers meeting will be held on April 18 2012 from 12:00-1:00 at the Foundation office.
